FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Manly, Brisbane, 10 May 2006 - "Saskia", a Cavalier 35, owned by Laurie Jenson, helmed by Sally Turner finished second overall in the IRC state championships
Racing in 15+ vessel fleet including some of Queensland most competitive racing crews, Saskia performed spectacularly at the hands of the Turner/Turner helm/tactican combination in the 3 race series.
The second place was credited to consistent performance, excellent crewing and the quality of sail construction from Ultimate Sails. Saskia continues to be a test bed for sail development given the massive improvement in performance achieved from new Carbon headsails manufactured at the Wynnum loft of Ultimate Sails, on Brisbane's waterfront.
Ultimate Sails is a leading sail maker based at Wynnum, Brisbane, Queensland, owned and operated by the highly experienced sailmaker, Andrew Turner. For further information, contact Andrew on 07 3348 7245.
